Crochet for Beginners – 7-9pm
The cost of the course is £115, including all of your materials. Deposit £30 with the balance due prior to the start of the course. This course is restricted to 4 places.
We are delighted to be able to run workshops again. We have done our best to understand the rules (although they may change) and have put together workshops that will still be fun and informative, while keeping everybody as safe as possible. There are certain things you will need to do, such as wear a face mask for the duration of the workshop, there can be no sharing of equipment and you will need to bring your own drinks or snacks. We will provide materials and equipment and we will need to keep a record of who attends each workshop and when. We will make sure everything in the workshop area has been cleaned and made as safe as we can for you.
Given the above we are only able to offer a limited number of places for each workshop. You will be able to secure your place with a deposit, with the balance being due no later than the start of the workshop. (Failure to pay will result in you not being able to attend the workshop and you will lose your deposit.)
Those of you with vouchers will be able to pay in full, using your vouchers, in advance of the workshop taking place. You will, however, need to book you place via email (email@example.com) or during opening hours by phone on 01799 218429, as our website isn’t able to process voucher payments.
With so many people trying their hand at Crochet during the past few months, we anticipate that places will be taken up quickly, so please don’t delay if you want to secure a place.
Our Crochet for Beginners course will start with the basic stitches, chain, double crochet and treble and you will learn how to combine and vary them to create other stitches and textures. We will make a different project each week, starting with a mug hug. Week 2 will see you making a pair of slippers (there will be some homework to complete them!), then in week 3 we move on to Granny Squares and finally we will master working in the round by making a bowl that can be felted to make it self supporting.
