We are delighted to welcome this beautiful yarn, which is made by John Arbon Textiles, at their mill in North Devon.
Everyone there is passionate about yarn, from fibre to the finished product. It even goes beyond that as they have also designed some great patterns! This passion really shows in every skein.

Yarnadelic is spun from 100% Falklans Corriedale. The breed is around 100 years old and was derived by crossing the Merino and Lincoln Longwool. It is one of their favourite fibres as its properties are a perfect balance of delightful softness and bounce from the Merino combined with the slight lustre and long staple length of the Lincoln Longwool – a fibre lover’s dream! The colours are blended as the yarn is spun, giving a deep, rich colour, which, when you look closely, is made up from all kinds of colours, just magical!

The story of how Yarnadelic and all of the colours got their names, is a great one!
John (Arbon) is not only a spinner of yarn, but also records. This gave the team a wonderful idea, to create a yarn range inspired by his eclectic record collection – everything from punk to funk. Over to the JAT Team:
"We had a cracking evening when John played us Mill folk a few of his favourites and, whilst sipping a few glasses of chilled wine, we all wrote down the colour each song evoked. Then the hand carders came out and we began creating shades to illustrate the sentiment of each song – and thus the palette for Yarnadelic was born. We hope you’ll find the 18 melange shades inspiring." 100% Falklands Corriesdale - 333m per 100g skein - 3-4.5mm needles - heavy 4ply/sport weight
