Yipee! The Sun is on the Horizon...

... We were so glad to hear that we should be able to reopen next month! I still haven't heard what the rules will be, but expect them to be similar to when we were last open, i.e. we will need to wear masks, use hand sanitiser and only allow a few customers in at a time. We are so looking forward to being able to welcome you back inside the shop and for you to be able to have a good browse! Katherine and I are getting together tomorrow to plan what we need to do to make everything extra special for you. Although we will (hopefully) be able to open in April, we won't be able to run workshops straight away. We know you have missed these as much as we have, and be reassured, we will be bringing them back as soon as it is safe to do so. We are hoping to be able to put a few short workshops on over the summer, but expect the main programme to start in the Autumn. A lot of depends on how people behave over the next few months and how the government react.
Thanks so much to those of you who have been ordering online, by email and occasionally by phone. We have had to change the emphasis of what is available on our website. It used to be used mainly to book workshops, but we have loaded lots and lots of yarn onto it now, which did expose a few glitches. We have a new site ready to go and hope to launch it this week. It doesn't look massively different, but it is easier to navigate and you will be able to identify colours, pictures/names/numbers, which will be a whole lot less frustrating for everybody! Recently there have been a few issues with the Paypal payments system, for which we apologise, it is out of our control, so we are changing this too. I'll let you know when it's live!
