Phew!!... (those who have been home schooling will know why!)

... Hopefully those of you who have had children at home, for what seems like months, will have been able to draw breath and set aside at least 10 minutes for a cup of coffee without any interruptions today! I 'take my hat off' to all of you who have been involved, it's not easy to add home schooling, often for multiple age groups, on top your normal daily tasks of working and running a house etc! Well done to everybody involved, not just parents!
Apparently it's Mother's Day on Sunday. In case you still need to source a gift for your Mother, we have set out a few options below. Don't forget that we can post out to anywhere in the UK and if you get your order in quickly, we will be able to send them first class tomorrow (Tuesday) so they should arrive in time for the big day! Don't forget to tell us what message you would like included.
We also have our usual 'Click and Collect' Days, Tuesday and Thursday, 10.00-5.00
This is our exclusive range of Hand Dyed yarn. Not available anywhere else! The colours are inspired by our beautiful town and it's surrounding countryside.
As a special gift for Mother's Day, we will include 2 patterns, free of charge with your order, one for crochet and one for knitting. Each project takes just one skein.
This has to be one of the loveliest, softest yarns you can find. Made from pure baby alpaca and available in 9 gorgeous colours. We will include a pattern to make a Linen Stitch Scarf, which will give your Mum a soft cosy hug, every time she wears it. The scarf needs 1 skein of each of 3 colours, we used Bright Pink, Bright Orange and Anthracite for our sample. Other suggestions are; Pine Tree, Ocean and Brass (bluey greens). Anthrazite, Silver and Brass (classic neutrals) . Dark Purple, Bright Pink and Plum (warm purples). Of course you can order any combination you think your Mum would like.
Linen stitch is far less complicated than it looks, you just use one colour for one row, alternating them as you go. This is a perfect piece of 'mindful knitting' and will help promote relaxation and wellbeing. It is reported that the texture of the yarn is even more important than the colour when knitting mindfully. Of course in this case, you can have both!
Send a 'Bunch of Roses'! Just one of the delicious colourways available in this special yarn (there are 7 all together). Developed as a sock yarn, this is far too special to use just for socks! We have used it for shawls and scarves too and will include a pattern for a pair of socks (takes one skein) and a Linen stitch scarf (takes 2 skeins) with your order.

Well I hope we have given you some food for thought and got those fingers twitching!
I am going through a very productive phase at the moment, I think I've probably got even more projects on the go now, than I had at the start of lockdown last year, despite finishing a lot off! Maybe it's the hope of spring and better times ahead. I don't know about you but when I've finished a project, somehow I manage to start at least 2 more! I know I don't have to justify any amount of projects to you, you all completely understand!
Stay well and look after each other, we are counting down the days until we can welcome you back to Craft Days. All the best from Jane and The Team
