We’d be lying if we said that it wasn’t a sad day when we decided to give up our lovely workshop, and downsize back to the original shop plan. The four and a bit years we spent with so much room were undoubtedly great, and the workshop was the scene of many exciting classes, courses and events and not to mention laughs. Sadly though, all good things must come to an end, and dropping trade in Saffron Walden combined with increasing shop rates meant hard decisions had to be made.
But here at Craft Days, we believe in silver linings…
These silver linings have come in the form of a GORGEOUS new shop design!
Losing the extra workshop space meant we had no choice but to reduce our stock size, so what better opportunity to focus on what we know best, what we are most passionate about, and what our customers want? We are planning to expand our range of yarns to feature more indie dyers and exciting brands. We’re adding loads of new workshops on specific techniques and fun new projects, including guest appearances from designers and crafters.
We’re gathering more and more beautiful patchwork-suitable cotton fabrics.
Excited yet? We are too!
Here’s to silver linings and beautiful new beginnings!
