We are so pleased that the shop is able to open again! It has been so lovely to be able to welcome many of our customers back in ans to see them browsing again!
Many of you have said how ‘Crafting’ has kept you going, which is so good to hear. Many have taken up craft for the first time or tried something new. We are always happy to help out with advice if you need it, we’ve got many people ‘back on track’ with their knitting (it doesn’t hurt so much if we unpick it!) so please bring your ‘problems’ along and we will do our very best to get you moving again!
There are signs of better times on the horizon, so more reason to keep hopeful. There has been a lot of discussion and new awareness, of our mental wellbeing. Craft and creativity can play an important part in keeping a positive attitudes and state of mind. All types of craft are good but those using left and right sides of the brain equally, are even better. (Such as knitting and weaving.) I am rather biased as ‘textile’ based crafts are ‘my thing’, but there are lots of other activities too. There is no better feeling than the warm glow of total satisfaction you get from finishing a project that you have made yourself!
Here at Craft Days we believe with a passion that everybody has a need to be creative in order to feel fulfilled. To achieve that, we stock a carefully curated range of gorgeous yarns and beautiful fabrics and accessories to help satisfy your creativity.
We send out our regular newsletters with lots of inspirations and ideas, along with the odd free pattern, to keep your creative juices flowing! If you don’t already receive it, you can sign up at the bottom of this page.
Our website is open for orders and we are adding to it all the time. As well as posting orders out, you can still ‘Click and Collect’, just select the ‘Local Pick Up’ in the ‘Shipping’ options when ordering.
We have added lots more goodies to the website, we cannot put the whole shop on it, so if there is something you would like, but can’t see it, send us an email on firstname.lastname@example.org and we will do our best to sort it out for you.
We are very happy to say that our sewing machine repair service is back up and running. Machines are collected from us first thing on a Friday morning, so please drop them off before 5.00 on Thursday. You can drop them in at any time during our regular opening hours (Mon-Sat 9.30-5.00). It usually takes about to weeks for the machines to be returned and we will call you to let you know when they are back.
We also have a selected range available on the ‘Click It Local‘ website.
Here at Craft Days, we believe there is a spark of creativity in everyone. Whether it’s knitting, crochet, dressmaking, needle felting, block printing or just experimenting with texture and colour, craft has a funny way of unleashing the imagination and bringing us together.
We’re a group of crafty ladies who are passionate about what we do, making it our mission to pass it on. The shop is stocked with a delicious range of products including yarns, fabrics, buttons, books and haberdashery, as well as a vibrant programme of classes and courses for all age groups.
Visit our workshops page to explore the current programme, browse our yarns and patterns to buy online and get crafting right away, or best of all, pop in and see us in the shop – we have biscuits!
