Shaping Double Knitting!
Having been to Nathan’s previous ‘Demystifying Double Knitting’ workshop and mastered the technique! Shaping Double Knitting takes you a step further and will teach you how to add shape your Double Knitting projects (increase and decrease). So useful for hats, shawls gloves etc. Take a look at the picture to see just how creative this can be. Although we won’t promise that you will complete this shawl in the workshop, you should leave with the skills to do so.
Please bring about 20 grams of each of two highly contrasting colours of DK weight yarn. Smooth yarn is best, solid colours only. Appropriate size needles (4mm), can be straights or circulars.
Nathan (aka The Sockmatician) is passionate about Double Knitting and will bring some inspiring samples of the sort of thing that can be achieved. (He’s also great fun and a brilliant teacher!)
WARNING: Nathan is on a quest to convert everyone to Double Knitting – one knitter at a time!
